Hello, Blossomers. I have returned to the blogosphere and the world of social media. Have you missed me? I’ve most definitely missed you. Where have I been, you ask? I, along with the entire Event Blossom Team, have been hard at work on this exciting product launch that I’ve had to keep secret for far too long – any extended period of time is an awfully long time for me to keep such fun things from you. It took every bit of restraint to not give away everything as I counted down the days to the big release, but the wait is finally over and the day has come…
Without any further ado, allow me to invite each and every one of you to Event Blossom’s biggest product launch yet:
I’m sure you recognized some of our most popular products in our previous teaser photo. Those products are the lucky bunch that will now be offered with our 79 brand new Vintage Design Labels. Yes you read that right, 79 BRAND NEW DESIGNS.

We’ve got a surprise for you, Blossomers!
Hello, Blossomers! I know it’s been a terribly long time since we last spoke but I promise that I’ve got some great posts that I can’t wait to share with you. In the meantime, I thought I’d give you a small sneak peek into our offices.
We’re all abuzz over Spring and Summer. Southern Californians do not usually fare well in the cold — I am certainly no exception to this. But the clouds have lifted, the rains have (hopefully) ended, and we’re looking at sunshine all the way through the next few months. Naturally, this puts all of us into a super creative mood. What better way to channel all this creative energy than to spruce up our office with some springtime decor?
There’s nothing like some flowers on your desk to brighten a work day. How do you personalize your workspace, Blossomers? We wanna know!

There’s this great saying, perhaps you’ve heard of it:
“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
In my experience, I have found this statement to be true. A photo can, indeed, tell quite a bit of story (even the whole story in some cases). However, in this fast-paced online world of ours I’ve found that this little quote has taken on a new meaning: a picture is worth a thousand conversations we can’t always have. There are so many little moments of laughter, joy, or inspiration that I wish we could share with you — little things like the silly doodles or drawings made while taking breaks, the small trinkets on our desks that keep us company, or even a refreshing ice cream sandwich that the boss surprises us with on hot summer afternoons. Sure, there’s always Facebook and Twitter. But they don’t have cool filters for your photos like…Instagram!
Instagram allows you to add that beautiful vintage look to brand new photos and share them with lots of people. As with all things social networking, I am greatly amused. You know what comes next…Now, Event Blossom has its very own Instagram profile where we can share more glimpses behind the scenes and we can see some of the lovely things you’ve taken a snapshot of. Follow us @eventblossom, and we’ll follow you!
Better yet, #eventblossom on images of your events or favors and show us what awesome and creative things you’ve done with your favorite EB products!

Hello, Blossomers! Today, we are celebrating a very momentous occasion. One year ago, this little blog of ours was created and the first post was published. I can still remember how excited I was to announce to everyone (I mean, everyone) that the blog was officially launched and that there were published posts ready to be read. Forty-four posts later and we’re ready to take our little blog to the next level. Expect some exciting changes in the near future. In the meantime, we’re going to celebrate!
Remember our friend, Kate from Sugar Therapy who made some delicious cupcakes for our Mod Party Kits?? Well, she and I worked together to surprise the office with some delicious cupcakes styled up with the help of our Cupcake Party Mod Party Kit.
I would like to thank a moment to thank everyone who has contributed: our wonderful retailers who have participated in our “Quick Q+A’s,” Kate from Sugar Therapy, and of course the entire Event Blossom Family for all their support from getting their pictures taken to helping me brainstorm some good topics. I would especially like to give a huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by our little corner of the internet and read our posts.
It’s been an exciting year, but we’re only getting started. Here’s to more happy blogging!

It’s my first post of 2013, and I couldn’t be happier to be back!
Since the Event Blossom Team has returned from their holiday break, we’ve all been busy as bees pumping out orders for all of our lovely retailers. I’ve been keeping a close eye on our processing department, trying to stay on top of developing trends and popular products.
Here are some things I’ve taken note of so far:
- Our MOD Pattern collection of favors are a big hit! The most popular MOD Patterns so far are: Trellis, Tiny Dots, and Chevron.
- There have been numerous orders for Milk Bottles paired with orders for our Striped Paper Straws. It looks like plenty of wedding, baby shower, and birthday party guests will be sipping their drinks in style!
- 2013 looks like it’s going to be the year of the Candy Tube. We’ve been getting a steady stream of orders for these versatile favors since we’ve been back.
Overall, I think we’ve got a good year for celebrations ahead of us.

Our newest products launched only three weeks ago, but we’ve already gotten plenty of orders for them! I know that our processing department gets excited with every order for our new MOD Pattern Designs and MOD Kid’s Birthday Designs. This blogger has a sneaky suspicion that these new favors are going to be BIG in 2013. Especially our already popular Personalized Milk Bottles which were featured in the December issue of Gifts & Decorative Accessories Magazine.
I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Gifts & Decorative Accessories Magazine for including us in this issue. Retailers take note: you won’t want to miss any opportunity to sell these! If you haven’t already added them to your site, now is the perfect time.

Happy December!
It’s been far too long since my last post and we’ve got a lot to talk about. October and November were such a crazy blur — is there anyone else who still can’t believe it’s already December? I’m still trying to wrap that notion around my own brain. Soon it’ll be 2013! Let’s do a quick re-cap of the Fall:
- The “Helpful How-To” series started with some of our more popular assembly-required products
- We started getting to know some of our fabulous retailers a little better with our “Quick Q+A” features
- Hurricane Sandy swept through the East Coast, and everyday we were a little bit more relieved to hear from a friend or family member letting us know that they were safe.
Here’s what to expect for the Winter and New Year:
- We’ll be brainstorming more “Helpful How-To” posts. Send any requests on over!
- January will feature another retailer for our “Quick Q+A.” We’re looking for more retailers to feature in 2013, let us know if you’re interested!
- Recovery on the East Coast seems to have progressed, but the relief effort is not over. The American Red Cross is still accepting donations here.

Whenever I’m brainstorming ideas for different projects, I always try to keep a few key things in mind. I found some quotes that help me stay inspired even in the deepest of creative slumps:
“You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.”

I think this is so true. It’s also really easy to forget. Whenever I find myself hitting a wall and I start getting frustrated, I’ll push it off to the side and just wait to be inspired. Why wait? Inspiration can be found everywhere; if it’s not coming to me then I should go to it. Whether it’s by perusing the shelves at my favorite bookstore or taking in the scenery at the beach, there are an unlimited amount of ways I can “go after” inspiration. While I enjoy my more traditional ways of cultivating ideas, there is a more modern approach I have been favoring these days. I think you know what’s coming…
I’ve mentioned my love of Pinterest in passing before, but I just can’t get enough of it! My favorite categories should come as no surprise to you: DIY & Crafts, Holidays & Events, and Weddings. However, I have been known to plan an imaginary new wardrobe through the Women’s Fashion category and laugh out loud (literally) at the pins found in the Humor section. Not to mention the non-existent house I have started to furnish and decorate. I digress.
My personal obsession with Pinterest aside, this site is a wonderful tool that can bring anyone out of the deepest creativity slump. It’s also a great way to share your own brilliant ideas! Creating a Pinterest profile for Event Blossom has been a long time coming and I am thrilled to officially announce that we are now on Pinterest and ready to follow and be followed! Starting today, we’ll be on the lookout for great profiles to follow and we hope that you take some time to come take a look at the pins that the one and only Christina from customer service has curated so far.
